Bruce Lyon
CEO
Bruce is an Oscar winner for Technical Achievement and a leader in the Media Technology industry. Prior to becoming CEO of IMT, he ran Sun Microsystems’ Global Media and Entertainment Markets Group. In that capacity he was responsible for Sun’s sales, strategy, solutions development, partnering, and marketing to Sun’s media and entertainment customers worldwide. During Bruce’s tenure, Sun’s annual revenues in the media and entertainment vertical topped $500 million. Before his time at Sun, he was a strategic consultant to large telecommunications and media companies including Verizon, Sprint, and Time Warner. In 1994 Bruce sold the business he founded, Lyon Lamb Video Animation Systems, Inc. As founder and chief executive, he was responsible for managing a 45-person team of engineers, technicians, sales, and marketing employees spread over the US and the UK. Lyon Lamb was the industry’s leading provider of high-resolution image conversion products, animation controllers, and 3D animation software. Bruce is an honors graduate from Chapman University.
Jack Fluor
CFO
Prior to his career at IMT, Jack spent 10 years in various positions in the financial industry. He started his career at JP Morgan working on emerging market debt offerings totaling over $5 billion. Jack then moved to private equity with Studio Holdings LLC where he managed various Web 2.0 deals. Most recently, Jack was the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Spark Networks Inc. After multiple acquisitions, a $30 million private placement, and a successful filing on the AMEX, Jack left to start IMT in 2007. Jack received a BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University, a MBA from Texas Christian University, and a Masters of Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business. Jack currently sits on the board of LA’s Best Friends.
Jason Kranitz
President, Systems Integration
Jason Kranitz is the President of IMT, Systems Integration which includes the following practice areas; Advanced Consulting, Cloud, Data Center, Security, Media Asset Management, Broadcast/ M&E, and Managed Services. Jason has 25 years of experience advising clients on how to use state of the art technology to drive new business initiatives. He has worked with a broad range of clients spanning the M&E, Broadcast, Sports, Corporate IT, Government, and Life Sciences industries. Jason began his career at Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) as a sales executive focusing on the Entertainment and Higher education markets in Southern California. In 2001 Jason moved to Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek or STK) where he led a team responsible for driving disk and tape archival storage sales in the Western U.S. Jason joined Sun Microsystems in 2005 through the acquisition of StorageTek before leaving to join IMT as a Co-Founder in 2007. Jason received a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Arizona.
Todd Luttinger
President, VC
Todd Luttinger joined IMT in 2016 as President of our Visual Collaboration Business Unit. Prior to IMT he was President and CEO of Providea Conferencing, a Camarillo, CA award winning leader in the videoconferencing, collaboration, and multimedia integration marketplace. Todd led the successful sale of Providea to Strategic Products & Services in 2012 where he served in various management roles through 2015. In 2002 Todd co-founded Videre Conferencing a Boston, MA-based videoconferencing integrator that became a regional market leader in New England and New York. As President & CEO of Videre Todd led the merger of the company with Providea in 2008. Todd was also VP of North American Sales for VTEL Corp, a publicly traded, Austin, TX-based videoconferencing manufacturer as well as holding leadership roles in communication companies including ROLM, Contel Executone and USTeleCenters, he is a graduate of Bentley University and a Trustee of Ohio Wesleyan University.
Teri Bevan
SVP, Corporate Compliance & HR
Teri Bevan joined IMT in 2016 as our HR Director. Prior to joining IMT, Teri was the HR Director at Strategic Products & Services (SPS), a UC system integrator with 850 employees nationwide. In 2012, SPS acquired Providea Conferencing, LLC where Teri was the HR Director & Corporate Secretary since the company’s inception in 1999. Providea was an award-winning leader in the videoconferencing, collaboration & multimedia integration marketplace with 185 employees nationwide. Prior to Providea, Teri worked at View Tech, Inc., as their Investor Relations Officer & Corporate Secretary. View Tech was a publicly traded company and provider of videoconferencing, voice & data products for commercial, federal & state government, medical and education customers. Teri began her career in investment banking where she worked for a publicly traded company as their Investor Relations Officer & Assistant Corporate Secretary. During her tenure, Teri was involved in all stages of the Initial Public Offerings for numerous companies that were successfully listed on the NYSE or NASDAQ with an aggregate value of $960M.
Jose Palencia
CTO, SI
Jose joined IMT shortly after earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he attended as a President’s Scholar. Jose’s research and studies focused on Operating Systems, Networking, and Artificial Intelligence. While still a student, Jose worked for Intel Corporation as a Software Developer on market-changing 64-bit and multi-core CPU technologies.
At IMT, Jose developed extensive knowledge in the conversion of tape-based workflows to file-based workflows for studio, broadcast, sports, and post-production applications. Jose is a key member of the IMT Consulting Team, and his experience is invaluable in leading the design and deployment of large digital media archive solutions. Jose’s deep understanding of the fundamentals of the design of computer hardware and software, as well as the intricacies of the interconnectivity of disparate technologies is instrumental to the success of projects. Jose’s knowledge is also critical to the evaluation process of products and solutions, which are also paramount to the success of the project. Preparing for and projecting the future of technology is part of Jose’s DNA, as looking forward and preparing for the future is directly related to the protection of the customer’s initial investment.
As described above, Jose serves as a technical architect, and engineering and development leader for IMT. Jose helps customers solve complex data problems with practical, elegant and resilient technology. Jose has been instrumental in many projects for numerous customers. His ability to design, develop and implement complex SAN solutions, while taking the complexity out of view of the customer is a special capability. Jose has the skill and experience to understand file systems, operating systems, and the differential feature sets of many vendors’ solutions to determine what is best for the customer. Examples of Jose’s recent work include projects related to FOX SPORTS 1, FOX NFL, FOX Sports, DIRECTV’s Audience Network, and The Golf Channel.
Steve Cogliano
SVP, Technology, VC
Steve Cogliano joined IMT in 2016 as Vice President of our Visual Collaboration Business Unit. Prior to IMT he was CTO of the Video & Collaboration Practice group at Strategic Products & Services (SPS) a NJ-based UC System Integrator. Before its acquisition by SPS, Steve was Vice President of Engineering and Operations for Providea Conferencing, a Camarillo, CA award winning leader in the videoconferencing, collaboration, and multimedia integration marketplace. In 2002 Steve co-founded Videre Conferencing a Boston, MA-based videoconferencing integrator that became a regional market leader in New England and New York. As Vice President of Operations at Videre he led all pre-sales engineering as well as project implementation and support services teams. Steve was also Director of Eastern Region Sales Engineering for VTEL Corp, a publicly traded, Austin, TX-based videoconferencing manufacturer as well as holding technical engineering roles in communication companies including Convergent Networks, Bell Atlantic and Verizon. He has been a trusted advisor on Partner Councils for Tandberg, Cisco, Acano, Polycom and LifeSize.
Joe Marchitto
CIO, SI
Joe started his career in IT-related roles primarily focused on end-user support (Inline Plastics, SAI Systems International). He then transitioned to a role in IT change management at Union Bank of California for a short time before moving on to at Playboy Enterprises. At Playboy, Joe started as a Help Desk Specialist and was quickly promoted to Media Systems Engineer. After four years at Playboy, Joe joined a data storage startup, Active Storage. Active specialized in high-speed storage for the Media and Entertainment (M&E) market. During his time at Active, Joe was able to work across disciplines and contributed to product engineering, pre-sales, marketing, and support. A year after Joe joined Active, the company transitioned to Quantum Corporation. Joe was invited to be part of the transition team. He joined Quantum as a pre-sale’s systems engineer, where he stayed for four years. During his time at Quantum, Joe was honored to have won the award for Systems Engineer of the Year consecutively for three years and his year-over-year performance earned him a spot at President’s Club each year he was employed there. After four years at Quantum, Joe joined Integrated Media Technologies as Director of Systems Architecture. Since joining IMT seven years ago, Joe has earned “Engineer of the Year” and has been promoted within the organization several times from Director to SVP Technology Solutions to his current role as IMT’s CIO. As the CIO, Joe is responsible for management and oversight of the deployment engineering teams supporting the Systems Integration business unit of IMT. Joe also continues to support the sales organization as a solutions architect for a multitude of IMT’s top customers. In this role, he works cross-functionally with IMT’s various teams to successfully execute projects from inception to implementation.
Cameron Lyon
COO, SI
In his thirteen years working in the Enterprise Data Solutions space, Cameron has focused his time and energy on developing processes, building teams, and executing solutions that benefit customers. As an Operations Executive, Cameron has personally led and overseen the success and profitability of thousands of high-stakes projects in data center solutions for media entertainment. As a leader, Cameron has demonstrably improved all aspects of core company operations with a leadership style focused on collaboration and customer success, overseeing and executing his current employer’s Service and Support Practice as revenues grew from $15M to $130M. Central to that expansion, Cameron founded, grew, and led a large and diverse, best-in-breed Project Management, Technical Account, and Customer Support Team and built a managed services practice from the ground up to over $6M in recurring revenue by the end of year three. In executing strategic vision at the speed of technological change, Cameron is highly experienced in effectively recognizing, analyzing, and correcting operations and financial issues to improve firm efficiency and profitability. Cameron’s passion for behavioral economics and lifelong learning often translates into how he approaches his decision-making. Cameron received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management with Dean’s Honors in 2023.
Rob Kobrin
CSO
Rob Kobrin began his career in 1975 as an apprentice to director John G. Avildsen on Rocky. In 1986 Kobrin focused on editing, with an emphasis on emerging technologies, and in the 1990’s performed the first digital editing on studio feature films for Columbia and Paramount. He was instrumental in the development of the first file-based workflow technologies including OMF and shared storage for Avid Technologies. From 1999 to 2003, Kobrin served as Senior Vice President World-Wide Product Marketing at Avid. As CTO of Integrated Media Technologies, he is heavily involved in product development and continues to consult with media enterprises regarding business and media practices.
