System Engineering

The second phase of the project is Engineering. This is the phase where our team of engineers takes an approved workflow diagram and converts it into detailed engineering CAD drawings.

Every single piece of equipment, cable, connector, and cable path for your project is planned out in a series of CAD drawings. System Engineering determines the routing, patch-bay and network mapping; storage requirements and network load; lighting grid layout and acoustic requirements. The engineering staff calculates power consumption and power management, BTU output to assure proper cooling and airflow. We create a detailed Gantt chart outlining every step required to complete the project on time.

With the completion of the CAD drawings, the engineering package is complete. It is then reviewed by the IMT engineering staff and the client team for review.
