Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System Turns On New Electronic Medical Records

Integrated Media Technologies Inc. (IMT), a leading technology systems integrator, has just completed the first successful implementation of comprehensive electronic medical records system for the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare Systems (SVMHS) in Salinas, California, into the hospital related clinics. Anticipating the need to gain new efficiencies with technology, at this premier regional healthcare facility, SVMHS has deployed the e-MDs electronic medical records system and is rapidly planning on converting its 250 physician staff members to a secure network for creating and sharing electronic medical records and diagnostic information.

After an extensive evaluation, SVMH selected the e-MDs Series 6.3.0 Practice Management EHR System for deployment in the hospital related clinics. It is anticipated that between twenty-six and thirty clinics will connect to the e-MDs platform with as many as several hundred concurrent users.

SVMH engaged IMT Inc. to design the IT architecture for the clinics and deployment of the e-MDs platform into the hospital connected clinics. Integrated Media Technologies, Inc. was integral in the readiness assessments for the clinics and in ensuring that each clinic technology is ready for the proposed deployments. “Our selection of e-MDs and IMT to assist with the deployment enabled SVMH IT staff to focus on the backend infrastructure while Integrated Media Technologies, Inc. is able to ensure that the clinics and related technology will be ready to accept the e-MDs deployment.
