Production Studio & Facility Integration and Design

When IMT integrates a Production Studio, it typically consists of a production stage, control room, and machine room. Depending on your exact needs and budget, a studio can be very elaborate with multiple stages and a robust control room, or it can be quite simple and scaled to get your job done. Because of the minor cost differential in today’s equipment, most of the production studios we integrate are High Definition (HD). Our expertise spans any format, resolution, or file type.

production_studio_01The production stage is where the lights, camera, and action happen. Most production stages are designed to support a multi- camera production. Depending on the need and budget, the cameras can be studio cameras, ENG cameras that are studio configured, or Robotic cameras. This allows a camera unit to be multiuse.

Many sets today utilize Virtual Set Technology to support multiple productions needs and applications. Virtual sets offer a wide range of composition choices for producers and directors that can be added during or post program origination.

Lighting is key to production quality. Depending on the size of the set, we can design and integrate any solution from a simple lighting grid to an elaborate lighting installation that is controlled with an automated and/or manual lighting mixer.

The production switcher, and the audio mixer are used to create an audio mix to be recorded and or go live.

The machine room is the heart of your facility. It contains the majority of the equipment that allows your production stage, control room, and the rest of your production to operate. As the main infrastructure, it contains key pieces to a production.
